Multi-carrier Energy Systems Operation and Markets:
The objective is to develop, experimentally validate and evaluate multi-carrier energy solutions which support optimal integration of the various energy infrastructures (electricity, heating, cooling, transport and gas). The developed solutions will cover multi-carrier energy markets as well as operational control room solutions coordinating multiple control rooms across energy infrastructures.
Tasks include:

- Innovative business models and customer models
- Study of integrated infrastructures robustness and critical operation situation handling
- Development and experimental verification of SCADA-system coordination system for optimal multi-energy carrier operation
- Development of multi-carrier energy market scheme with dynamic prices/tarifs for end users
- Market coupling of electricity and district heating markets
- Development, implementation and experimental verification of market platform for multi-carrier energy market with dynamic prices / tariffs and novel contracts
