Morning Inspiration: P2P Electricity trading based on Nordhavn assets
We would like to invite you to a morning inspiration session in the EnergyLab Nordhavn showroom.
On 10 January from 8.30-10.00 Tiago Sousa, Postdoc at DTU Electrical Engineering will present how local peer-to-peer (P2P) electricity trading can demonstrate the end user value of locally produced solar power and kickstart the energy community concept between actors in Nordhavn. The research done by Tiago Sousa is related to the project Smart Cities Accelerator which is funded by Interreg.
As a citizen of Nordhavn you cannot today get locally produced RE electricity as part of your energy mix, due to barriers in the electricity markets. A decentralized energy trading scheme would allow this to happen, and you would be able to compare with your neighbour how you use the locally produced electricity in Nordhavn, i.e. sourced from the PV panels at the international school.
Practical information:
When: 10 Januar 8.30-10.00
Where: EnergyLab Nordhavn Showroom, Sundkaj 7, 2150 Nordhavn
Program:
08.30-09.00: Coffee and croissants
09.00-09.30: Presentation: the concept, the business model with it’s roles and actors, the necessary data flows, alignment of the demonstration with other relevant events.
09.30-10.00: Discussion
To sign up please email EnergyLab Nordhavn no later than 8 January.
