EnergyLab Nordhavn welcomes the recommendations from the Energy Commission

EnergyLab Nordhavn welcomes the recommendations for the future energy policy launched earlier today by the Energy Commission. Not least the reference to an integrated and flexible energy system as well as the strengthening of Denmark’s position as energy technology front runner. Developing an integrated and flexible energy system as well as showcasing Danish competencies is exactly what EnergyLab Nordhavn is all about.

In short the recommendations are:
  • Efficient international energy markets must ensure security of supply
  • Renewable energy must be deployed on market terms
  • An integrated and flexible energy system must ensure an efficient and stable energy supply
  • Energy efficiency improvements must continue to be an important part of the solution
  • Denmark's positions as an energy technology front runner must be strengthened
  • Efforts outside the ETS area must be focused on the transition of the energy system
