Austrian Federal Minister for Sustainability and Tourism visited EnergyLab Nordhavn

On Monday 25 March EnergyLab Nordhavn welcomed the Austrian Federal Minister for Sustainability and Tourism Elisabeth Koestinger and a number of industry and press representatives. Kristian Honoré, Energy Planner, HOFOR and Rongling Li, Assistant Professor, DTU Civil Engineering explained how flexibility in the heating system and in the buildings are harnessed to reduce the use of peak load boilers and allow for increased wind power penetration. The busy schedule also allowed for some tire kicking at the demonstration by Danfoss enabling ultra low temperature district heating with booster heat pump solutions.

More information about how temperature fluctuations in homes can be utilized in the green transition can be found here.
